The Spark of Confidence

Diamond Sealing Technology

DCLA offers an advanced sealing system for loose diamonds in which a diamond is sealed in a secure and tamper-proof casing.

The DCLA Certi-Card Sealing System is the best way to safeguard your diamond against being substituted, chipped, fractured, or otherwise damaged before you have it set into jewellery or while it is not in your possession. Once DCLA has issued a Diamond Certificate, on your request the diamond is sealed in the Certi-Card casing with its individual DCLA Diamond Certificate number and identifying characteristics clearly visible inside the seal.

The seal has a number of security features including electrostatic security bars, pressure-sensitive transparent adhesive and Cryptoprint text which only becomes visible after opening the seal. It is therefore impossible to tamper with the seal.
